Where We Perform
During the fall season JPE performs with the marching band at all home football games, marching competitions, and the Lafayette Holiday parade. Additional travel opportunities vary depending on the year. For example, the band was featured in the Kentucky Derby Pegasus Parade in April, 1999; participated in Disney\'s Magic Music Days in March, 2000; and will perform in the Hollywood Christmas Parade.
During the winter, JPE performs to recorded music on a gym floor. The winter season lasts from January through April. Travel opportunities also exist for members of the winter ensembles.
Performance schedules for each season are included in the Jefferson Bands newsletter and on the Jefferson Bands web site. Performance day schedules and maps are available each Monday before a performance in the Music Office.
