The Jefferson Marching Band is a competitive marching unit from Lafayette, Indiana. We compete in Class A at all ISSMA events. The 2006-07 Marching Band is comprised of 52 woodwinds, 49 brass, 31 percussion, 25 color guard and 3 Drum Majors for a total of 160 members on the field.
2006 MISSION STATEMENT
The 2006 JHS marching band will be a UNIT of musicians, performers, and directors who will achieve a sense of self-confidence and pride as a result of striving unvaryingly to deliver the finest possible performance in any undertaking. This process will be carried out in the most mature and professional manner and will consist of persistently surpassing the previous day through efficient productive rehearsals while continually aspiring to obtain the most from each rehearsal. |
