Flute
Linda Kussman grew up in the Lafayette area. After graduating from Harrison High School she accepted a music scholarship to North Park University in Chicago. Music opportunities there included band, orchestra and ensemble tours throughout the United States, as well as Germany and Scandinavia. She received her B.A. in psychology and has found that classes such as "Learning and Memory," "Child Development," and "Adolescent Behavior" are very helpful in the teaching arena! She has been giving private flute lessons since 1987, first in the Minneapolis area and in Lafayette since 1995. Locally she plays with the Lafayette Flute Choir, Lafayette Citizen's Band and at her church. Linda is married to Todd and they have three children. |
